About:
Hi!
My name is Maria.
I have a long family story of art, creativity and working with kids in this field.
In my family there are three genarations of artists, and as a child I was painting and drawing with my mother from an early age, and watching her teach art to kids. She was a wood-cuter artist and art teacher in school for many years.
Also as a mom of two, the creativity and trying new things was there from the start of my kids' lives. I like to bring fun and ease in the process of learning. I would be happy to open this world to your kids and to you.
I teach to find an inspiration in every day life and natural textures, to use your fantasy to find your way expressing the feeling and your vision of things.
During lessons I give a lot of tips, but at the same time connect with each personality to make the lessons adaptive and personal.
I use different styles and materials for my work, paintings and creations.
I would love to bring the possibility of being creative in Riehen.

Art activities
Private art lessons for kids/adults
Children from 4 y. - 80 chf per 1.5 hours per person
(all materials are included: paper, tools, colours)
10 lessons - 700 chf
Adults - 70 chf per hour per person
(all materials are included: paper, tools, colours)
10 lessons - 600 chf
What you will try and learn:
- color theory
- shapes
- to not be afraid of white empty paper
- usage of different materials
- techniques like linoprint
and scetching
- drawing with watercolour, ink
and pastel
- cards making
- and much more
Kids birthdays
from 5 years old
up to 6 kids - 2 hours - 450 chf, + every further person - 65 chf
I would come to your place for 2 hours with all materials:
paper, tools, colours
depending on the age we can discuss the options of activities:
